Invite, manage, and offboard institution members
Keep organization membership aligned with purchased worksheet seats through the whole member lifecycle.
- Who this is for
- Institution administrators
- Before you begin
- Administrator role, with the institution active in the organization switcher
Invite members within seat capacity
Membership capacity follows the purchase: the workspace accepts the purchased seat quantity plus one extra membership, so the administrator who set up the institution does not consume a paid seat.
- Open the institution workspace with the correct organization active.
- Send invitations from the organization's member management surface, choosing each person's role at invite time.
- Compare seat-carrying membership (administrators, educators, and legacy members) with the purchased seat quantity before inviting more people.
Self-service currently covers up to 20 accounts
Self-service seat checkout is intended for institutions of up to 20 accounts. Larger institutions get a negotiated agreement with invoice billing instead of card checkout.
Change a member's role
Role changes apply immediately from the organization's member management surface. Review what each role can do before switching someone.
Offboard a member
- Removing a member from the organization immediately frees their seat for a new invitation.
- Worksheet history belongs to the person's own account and does not transfer to the institution or to their replacement.
- The removed person keeps their personal account; they simply lose institution seat access and any organization role.
Success check
Membership matches the purchased capacity, roles reflect each person's actual duties, and departures free seats without support intervention.
